“Friday Night Market”: Summer Evening Festival | UN Plaza
In trying to make United Nations Plaza a comfortable and fun evening destination rather than a public space you walk quickly through, the city is throwing a series of late summer night markets with a beer garden, live music, food trucks, DIY art workshops and 25+ artisan vendors.
Friday Night Market
Every Friday, Sept. 5 to Oct. 24 | 4 to 9 pm
UN Plaza, 8th and Market, SF
FREEFood – Up to 12 food trucks and stands
Drinks – Beer, wine and cocktails
Vendors – Fashion trucks, local Bay Area made artists/sellers and artisan food start-ups (imagine truffles and flavored popcorn)
Entertainment – Live music, dancing, games and more
Games – Corn hole, giant jenga… you get the idea.
Activities – Educational and hands-on workshops for all ages – interactive, community oriented and green (imagine making jewelry out of duct tape or designing a tote bag)
Enjoy the final Friday Night Market of the year as this weekly summer evening festival in UN Plaza closes for the winter season. Expect a dozen vendors and a dozen food trucks. Live music from reggae rockers Ire Fuse, plus an outdoor beer garden and play Giant Jenga, Cornhole.
