SF Refresh’s goal is to create six daylong citywide events that enable San Franciscans to receive free whole body care in community garden settings in 2011.

Activities include: gardening classes, yoga, life coaching, meditation, trauma care, nutrition classes, massage, acupuncture, movement classes, preventative health care information and even bicycle-powered smoothies.

For the second SF Refresh, there are events in Bernal Heights, the Bayview and Visitacion Valley.

Today: Garden Skillshares, Massages & Art Projects at Alemany Farms
Free whole body care activities will be held throughout the day, including accupressure, massage, art projects and music.

12 – 5 pm | Garden volunteering
12 pm | Affirmation and forgiveness tree, led by Ilyse Magy of the Revel Art Collective.
12 pm | Bicycle-powered smoothies
12 pm | Meet the Artist: Mother Earth Exhibit
1 pm | Building fence pockets with fabric and gromets, workshop led my Jonathon Silverman
1pm | Herb skillshare, led by Sam McMullen
1pm | Make-Your-Own garden gnome or creature, workshop led by Rachel Cassandra of the revel Art Collective
1pm | Yoga for Kids, led by Linda Leu
2pm | Composting workshop, led by Jaime Tjahaja
2pm | Edible weeds, class led by Sam McMullen
3 pm | Canning workshop, led by Anastasia Crosson
3 pm | Shape note singing workshop, SF Sacred Harp
4 pm | All Levels Yoga, led by Linda Leu

The next SF Refresh days come on these Saturdays: July 24, August 20, September 25 and October 15.
