Event Details

Come enjoy a fun, easy, and safe two mile walk in nature! You will learn healthy walking & targeted exercises to feel better in your body.

About this Event

Are you open to expanding your awareness of how you move to increase your body’s abilities? Then this unique experience is designed for you! I will guide you to practice simple and natural principles of healthy walking while enjoying the beautiful nature around us. Healthy walking can play a vital role in healing and preventing pain and injury, increase your stamina, strengthen your muscles and bones, and bring length to chronically shortened calves and psoas muscles. All this by doing something you already do every day!

At several spots along our walk, we will stop to learn key principles and to do simple corrective exercises that will make it easier to continue practicing in the days to come. This is a great way to “land” more in your body, come alive, take care of yourself, and feel better.

I love this event because it offers so many benefits in just one experience. You will…

Move your body outdoors and in nature
Learn & practice principles of healthy walking
Do targeted exercises to make healthy walking easier for you
Explore a portion of the Crosstown SF Trail & Glen Canyon Park
Safely meet new people!

Once you register, I’ll send you detailed info about the meeting location, our itinerary, what to bring with you, parking information, and my contact info in case you have any questions.

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE: NATASHA

I’ve taught hundreds of students natural body alignment over the last seven years and have massaged thousands of bodies over the last 20 years. I’ve trained extensively in many modalities–my primary mentors are Katy Bowman, Biomechanist; Esther Gokhale, Posture Guru; and Oliver Chu, Chinese Medicine Doctor & Tui Na Instructor. I’m passionate about guiding people to greater health, ability, confidence, connection, and understanding within their own bodies and within the world. We are capable of so much more than we think.
