Event Details

On Saturday, October 11, 2014 people all over the world will be calling for an end to fracking and the dangers it poses to our environment, health, and communities. Oakland will host a day of action at Lake Merritt’s Eastshore Park with music, food, and an art station where you can make your own anti-fracking t-shirt.

Come together for an afternoon of fun and action and to learn about fracking and the campaigns to ban it in California. They’ll be sending messages to Jerry Brown, telling him that you can’t be a climate leader if you support fracking.
