What will you do when you turn 60? Rollerskate backwards down California street?

When the Godfather was 22 the fun thing to do was to skate backwards down the San Francisco hills. It was exhilarating, they did a lot of TV shows doing it. However now that the GodFather is turning 60 on Feb 22, it’s time to relive the roller magic or crash trying.

On Monday, February 22nd, David Miles will be at the top of California St. at Mason St. across from the Fairmont and Mark Hopkins hotels at 1 pm. No warm ups. No trial runs. When the traffic is right, it’s roll out and down the hill – backwards! It will start at Mason St. and end at Kearny St. at the Bankers Heart.
