Event Details

Ahoy matey – grab ye hearties and ye hat and join the Richmond District neighbors in celebrating the official reopenin’ of the Cabrillo Playground at noon on August 3, 2013.

Come dressed as a pirate to enjoy lots of pirate-themed fun, a ribbon cutting, ping pong (on the brand new ping pong table), music, a tile project, and food for purchase.

District 1 Suparrrrgh-visor Eric Mar, San Francisco Recreation and Parks, Friends of Cabrillo Playground, the San Francisco Parks Alliance and city officials will be present for the party. Let’s hope they also ditch their suits for pirate garb.

This new $4.5 million playground was made possible by San Francisco voters who approved the 2008 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond.
