Event Details

Pay tribute to Mildred “Brownie” Schrumpf, the creator of the brownie, by testing out her original recipe against a modern one and crown the chocolatey, chewy winner at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont.

The program is free, but Ardenwood admission fee applies: $3 for adults (18+ years), $3 for seniors (62+ year), $2 for children (4-17 years), and free for those under 4 years old. We’re not sure if you’ll be able to taste the brownies for free, so bring a few bucks, just in case.

This is a drop-in program; no registration is required. For information, call (510) 544-2797.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
