Our hackerspace gives mothers of every gender the time and space to explore DIY craft and design, hacker/maker culture, community workshops, entrepreneurship and all manner of creative expression. With childcare.
Join us June 6th, 11-1, for our summer art show. Madison Young will show her performance piece Self Care for the Limit/Less and two prints from a recent piece on death, as explained to her three year old daughter. At the opening, Young will show the text, ephemera, audio and poetry that explains how all living things return to the soil.
Sheila Metcalf-Tobin will show her small delicate vulva drawings, as well as her large textural pastels. The first show her attention to realism, and the second expands into a surrealist dream language.
