Bring a stainless steel teaspoon to Equator Coffees at Proof Lab for an old world demonstration of the mythical, magical, and transformational art of blacksmithing.
On October 26th and 27th, between 10 am and 2 pm, Equator Coffees will be featuring local vocational blacksmith and Silicon Valley veteran Tom Lamar.
Using a simple anvil, hammer and forge, he will be creating, reshaping, twisting, and bending your spoons into memorable keepsakes that will add a touch of hand craftsmanship to your sugar bowl or make great gifts for your coffee and tea drinking friends.
Spoons should be stainless steel only (no silver).
Please note, we’re not sure what this has to do with Halloween. Perhaps he’ll turn your spoon into a spooky black cat or jack o’lantern, but it still sounds cool to us regardless.
