One of Funcheap’s favorite local artists is debuting her brand new show at Blackbird Bar in the Castro on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 6-8 pm. Inspired by typography and botanicals, this collection from artist Hilary Williams invites you into a world where the scenery of San Francisco is playful and abundant in this original and bold mixed media show.

See 14 new canvases in vibrant color pallets in this show curated by Eden Stein of Secession Art and Design.

With her vibrant color pallets, and inherent sense of composition intact, Williams takes the theme of flora and fauna to a new level as it overtakes the cityscape and permeates from above and below. Magnified on large canvases, become lost in a new world full of hallucinatory experiences and colorful floral intensity.
