Event Details

The world of ceramics is so much bigger than pottery, but if not on a potter’s wheel, how do you make art from a squishy ball of clay? Artist and art educator Larry Stefl will teach us basic ceramic construction techniques – the building blocks of all hand-built clay.

Free, but space is limited, so please RSVP.

The event takes place at Berkeley Art Center’s sculpture patio to be inspired by the resident works by Harold Paris, Stephen deStaebler and Peter Voulkos.

Participants will make a piece with air-dry clay to take home. This free event is suitable for all ages.
