Event Details

This workshop examines Missing Murdered and Indigenous Women (MMIW) and Say Her Name as distinct yet related movements that hold systems of power accountable for the ongoing erasure of violence against Black and Indigenous women and girls. Together in this workshop, we work to uncover the root causes of this targeted violence, and seek to foster communal discussions aimed at accountability, healing and imagining new ways of living and moving together as a political commitment toward upholding the sovereignty and safety of Black and Indigenous peoples.
