Event Details

Jackson Square, one of the most historic areas of San Francisco (tucked between the Financial District and North Beach) is home to a handful of gorgeous antique stores and art galleries.

On Wednesday June 15, 2011 hunt for new-found art treasures as you attend a walkabout featuring six galleries with mini-lectures by dealers followed by a wine reception.

What’s the deal with the Treasure Hunt?: There is also a “treasure hunt” aspect to this event where you take photos of your favorite art pieces of the night and upload it to facebook and then you get a prize of some kind.

But even if you totally ignore the “treasure hunt” (since it’s not really a “hunt” for anything, but just a way to get you to share the event with your Facebook followers) we still think this is a great event and a wonderful excuse to get a insider look at some of these amazing galleries along a street you’ve probably never walked down.
