History for Half Pints (the kid kind, not the drinking kind) is a monthly family day at the California Historical Society in San Francisco, featuring music, games and of course, history.

The family day takes place every second Saturday of the month and is free with an RSVP, or if you’re a CHS member.

October 11, 2014 Activities:

  • Featured Craft of the Day: Help build Yosemite National Park with recycled materials
  • Dress up as a Yosemite Adventurer in the Costume Corner
  • Discover new things with the Yosemite Scavenger Hunt
  • Design your very own Keep Animals Wild Poster

Joining in on the fun is The Mexican Museum who will be at CHS from 12:00-4:00 pm with artist Mona Jane Gatchalian Marcos, who will be making corn husk dolls to celebrate the fall season.
