This annual festival of horror, sci-fi, dark fantasy and exploitation cinema defies convention to bring you the most outrageous genre films from both emerging and established filmmakers. This is ten days of celluloid mayhem not usually found in your local cineplex.

• Poltergeist (1982) – Wed. 12/10 at 9pm – Rare 35mm screening of Steven Spielberg horror classic.
• Aliens (1986) – Thu. 12/11 at 9pm – Surprisingly awesome thriller sequel to Alien. A rare 35mm print.
• The Many Lives of Jovan Cornejo – Fri. 12/12 at 7pm  – Bizarre monster horror comedy.
• Short Block 8 – Sat. 12/13 at 3pm – A series of strange and scary short films.
• Hellyfish & Short Block 9 – Sat. 12/13 at 5pm  – Radioactive killer mutant jellyfish… ’nuff said.
• Bloody Knuckles – Sun. 12/14 at 7pm – A relentless comic drawing severed hand.
• Jennifer Help Us – Mon. 12/15 at 7pm – Feature length horror film shot entirely on an iPhone 4s.

• Nosferatu (1923) Silent Film Screening – Sat. 12/13 at 9pm – Silent horror masterpiece with live vinyl record score.
• Zombie! The Musical! – Sun. 12/14 at 7:30pm at Terra Gallery –  A live rock and roll zombie show.
