On Saturday, June 6th, the Arhoolie Foundation, Les Blank Films, and Down Home Music are co-hosting a block party in the Down Home parking lot (10341 San Pablo Avenue in El Cerrito). The block party will feature live music by our Arhoolie Award winners, local food vendors, a DJ set by Andy Cabic of Vetiver, and an outdoor screening of Les Blank’s The Blues Accordin’ to Lightnin’ Hopkins. We hope to see you there!
