IT’S A CELEBRATION! After 3 years of Music, Fine Art, Fundraisers, Spoken Word, Karaoke, Stand up Comedy, Mahjong, Dancing, Snacks, and well, the growth of a warm and colorful community… IT’S TIME TO DO IT ALL AGAIN!!

When we started we had an empty canvas, a shell of a space and it was all ours to dream as big as we can. We opened within 3 months of signing a lease (admittedly we ARE a little psycho) and we’re constantly adding more (hello resturant and 1st floor space!) . We’re excited to see what year 3 has in store for us.
It hasn’t been easy but it’s been the best thing we’ve ever created – we get to plan experiential events, build community, & spark creativity, really can’t ask for more! Thank you so much for contributing your vibes and love to our house, we really couldn’t have made it through without our community. They say it takes a village….IT HELLA DOES.
We will be celebrating all day & night starting with doing what we do best!

- ALL NIGHT 🀄️ Mahjong 🀄️ @ Baba’s House 1st + 2nd Floor mahjong den. We’ll have 5 tables available for you to show off your MJ skills.
- ALL NIGHT House-Made cocktails/mocktails collaborating with some of our faves such as Sojexo Highball – Soju Highball with Calexo Seltzer & Ying Yang Tea – Mizo Hard Lemonade with Soju & Oolong Tea
- ALL NIGHT Flash Tattoos by Magz Tattoos, The Town fave!
- 6PM – 9PM DJ Hella Good starting us off right on the 1s and 2s.
- 7PM – 9PM Delicious FREE bites made by Chef Eman featuring some off menu & test kitchen items, you’ll be the first to try!
- 9PM- TIL Karaoke @ Baba’s House 2nd Floor. You already know, after a tummy full of yummies, it’s time to digest by singing it all out.

What is Baba’s House?
We are an immersive community event space in downtown Oakland, CA. We focus on events that uplift our BIPOC & creative community. We offer our space to creatives to explore and experiment with their own passions. (IE: Living Room Sessions – creatives can perform for their own private guest list at no cost.
We’re working hard to keep this a safe space for folks to convene.
Our goal is to build legacies, spark creativity & build community.
