The Farmers’ Market at the Ferry Building presents a “Honey Festival” with displays and activities focused on Bay Area honey producers.

March 19, 2011

  • 10 am -1 pm Ask the Beekeeper Booth with Helene Marshall The owner of Marshall’s Farm Natural Honey will be on hand in the CUESA kitchen to answer question about honey production, hives and beekeeping, and the many culinary uses for honey. She’ll also have a sampling (and jars for sale) of a few of her favorite honey varieties for, including SF Fairmont honey, Bay Area blend honey, eucalyptus/acacia honey, orangeblossom honey, blackberry honey, and almond blossom honey.
  • 10:00 am Seasonal Cooking Demonstration and Book Signing: Margo True, editor at Sunset Magazine and co-author of The Sunset Cookbook
  • 11:00 am Seasonal Cooking Demonstration: JW Foster of the Fairmont San Francisco
  • 11:45 am Seasonal Cooking Demonstration: Brandon Jew of Bar Agricole
