It’s Halloween time so dress up your dog(s), yourself and your kids, if you like, and support the Inaugural Hounds 4 Huntington’s Dog Costume Walk at Shollenberger Park in Petaluma. The trail is a beautiful 2-mile circular walk to the Petaluma River and is wheelchair accessible.
There will be many contests for your dog to participate in. A few are: Best costume, cutest costume, biggest dog, and smallest dog. There will also be a silent auction to help us raise additional dollars for research for Huntington’s disease which has no cure. (HD is a rare, fatal, genetic brain disorder that affects children and adults).
The local fire department will have an engine there for the kids to see and talk with the firemen.
