“Dirtybird: Back to Baysics” Huge Free EDM Daytime Rave (SF)

Thanks to SF Standard for giving us the full details about the huge free EDM daytime rave that’s coming to San Francisco this Sunday.

Following the success of the recent Fred Again and Skrillex rave at Civic Center, Another Planet Entertainment is hosting “Dirtybird: Back to Baysics,” a free daytime electronic music event at Embarcadero Plaza on Sunday, July 21, 2024 featuring Sacha Robotti, a Belgian-born DJ known for his performances at Burning Man and Coachella, as the headliner. Opening the afternoon will be a back-to-back set from Deron Delgado and Moody Jones, with two additional acts to be announced.

This event is part of the city’s initiative to revitalize downtown San Francisco and bring more community-focused entertainment to the area. According to the SF Standard, the event, which hopes to draw up to 5,000 people, should feature carnival-style lawn games, face painters, and (hopefully) free ice cream, capturing the playful spirit of the original Dirtybird barbecues in Golden Gate Park and the Dirtybird Campouts on Treasure Island.
