Face it, “We The People” need a break from all the protests, marches and rallies, if only for one night. If you feel like you want to contribute to the cause for equal rights but don’t quite know how to do it, FundRager is the answer.
The night starts off at 8 pm with a theater-full room of activities including crazy games (think human bowling and throwing pies at Trump and his family), a snapyourself photo booth, live band karaoke, silent auction, writing postcards to your local, state and federal representatives, local artists selling prints and other merchandise, and of course, libations at one of the best bars in the city.
Then at 9:30 pm, ’90s/’00s cover band Fire Peach takes the stage to entertain you. Plus, Bay Area comedians will hang out and share some of their best/worst jokes with the crowd.
Come for the laughs, music, games and leave with a sense of purpose and accomplishment. All the proceeds from this event benefit the American Civil Liberties Union.
