Funcheap is teaming up with General Assembly, SF’s tech, business and design education hub, to present a free orientation to help newcomers to the startup scene get acquainted with the exciting world of tech in San Francisco.
They will give you the inside scoop on key events and meetups to attend, people, companies, VCs, blogs, incubators, programs, hot issues, and more. Learn the role of key players and how you can best fit into the scene.
Free drinks and snacks will be provided.

Zavain Dar
Venture Capitalist, Innovation Endeavors
Zavain works with the Investment Team and is excited to collaborate with passionate entrepreneurs building paradigm-shifting technologies to disrupt and engage the status quo. Prior to joining Innovation Endeavors, he was an early employee at Discovery Engine, a next generation keyword search engine acquired by Twitter. He was also a founder of Fountainhop, one of the first hyper-local social networks.
Max Ritz
Investment Team, Innovation Endeavors
Max Ritz sits on the Investment and Operating Committees within Eric Schmidt’s venture capital firm and spends time in three areas: sourcing, diligencing and executing on investment opportunities; researching and formulating investment theses; and working with CEOs and VPs of 82 portfolio companies to drive TVCI and IRR of fund.
