March 11, 2013 , a new square-dance class starts, 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Newcommers are welcome to join the Caper Cutters square dancing club for a modern twist on this classic american tradition.
Square dancing, unlike some activities, is a complete physical exercise that has added dividends of long-term health benefits. Square dancers share a love of music, movement, teamwork and sociability. Together, they move to the rhythm of the music, keeping physically fit and mentally on their toes as they quickly react to the caller. The dancing centers around learning calls through classes that blend into a never-ending series of changes.
Participants are encouraged to take the class with a dance partner. Four couples are needed to form a square. Bring your friends and neighbors for an entertaining, and inexpensive evening.
