#IsolatedYetTogether Mini-Concert Series & Artist Appreciation Awards

ICMA Foundation (founded by Shri. Mahesh Kale), would like to extend an invite to the newly-christened ICMA Cares Initiative: #IsolatedYetTogether, featuring a mini-concert series as well as Artist Appreciation Awards (2020). This mini-series will be broadcasted on ICMA Foundation’s Facebook and Youtube channels.

We would like to invite you to the ICMA Artist Appreciation Awards 2020 and #IsolatedYetTogether Mini-Concert Series, an initiative to honor and appreciate musicians engaged in the ongoing pursuit of excellence in Indian classical music. This three-month mini-concert series will be inaugurated by Pt. Jasraj, followed by remarks from ICMA Founder, Mahesh Kale. The mini-concert series will debut with an accomplished Hindustani vocalist, the first ICMA Artist Appreciation Awardee 2020, Rindana Rahasya. We hope that all of you, along with your friends and families, can join us this Saturday, May 23rd, at 9:00am PST | 9:30pm IST, for the inaugural event.

Initiated as part of ICMA Cares by ICMA’s own Mahesh Kale, the ICMA Artist Appreciation Awards 2020 is a response to the impact of COVID-19 on the artist community. We are honored to have the support of several legendary artists like the Gundechas, Bombay Jayashree, Shounak Abhisheki, Shubhankar Banerjee, and Selva Ganesh, who are nominating and endorsing musicians onto this new stage.

The ICMA Artist Appreciation Awards 2020 offers each selected awardee Rs. 25000 INR and the #IsolatedYetTogether Mini-Concert Series is a platform for awardees to connect with a receptive and music-loving community (yes, that’s all of you!) in a virtual but intimate setting. The virtual mini-concert series will strive to offer the same level of quality and musical immersion you are used to from ICMA events – and even though this time, instead of the Palace of Fine Arts or the Flint Center, you will be in the comfort for your own home, our hope is that you can experience an equally engaging, interactive, and unforgettable musical celebration.

Join us for the inaugural event on Saturday, May 23rd at 9am PST | 9:30pm PM IST and every subsequent Saturday, same time and same place, for the next three months (so please mark your calendars accordingly!)
