Jangle-Pop Concert “Joel Streeter” at Park Chalet | Golden Gate Park

Singer-songwriter Joel Streeter cleverly fuses britpop melodies with mid-tempo indie rock and easily navigates his songs away from the traditional pitfalls of generic songwriting, standard chord changes and lazy lyrics.

His excellent debut album “Hear Me Out” had song after song which could easily have made it onto the O.C. soundtrack. Expect to hear a dusting off of several songs from his upcoming sophomore album “Matador” including our two favorites, Close Your Eyes and Molly.

• Joel will be performing with his full band including long-time guitarist Max Deleany.
