Event Details

Stop by RayKo Gallery on April 12th, 6-8pm, for the opening reception of “Unfolding Lives in Tohoku,” photographs by Hiroyo Kaneko and Asako Shimazaki which reveal the utter beauty of that region of Japan.

Come meet the artists and have some wine and sushi. Also in the side gallery, we’ll be featuring work made at RayKo including Hiroshi Suzuki’s platinum prints and selections from Jason Duffany’s series, “Asahi, Japan: after the tsunami, a photographic journal.” The exhibition will coincide with the one-year anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami tragedy.

RayKo is located at 428 Third Street between Harrison and Bryant. Street parking is free after 6.
