Event Details

Every week, Shabbat offers an opportunity to shift into a different rhythm – to slow down, unplug and connect with family and friends. It also encourages people to take an intentional break and be more present.

They invite everyone to take a pause from your work day and swing by the CJM to explore Shabbat traditions with them. Create your own Shabbat kit, try something new and appreciate the efforts of your week.

  • Roll your own beeswax candles
  • Learn to letter press, then send a postcard of gratitude to someone in your life
  • Enjoy a taste of sabich, an Iraqi pita sandwich, and discover why it’s the perfect Shabbat meal
  • Delight in sweets from Amborella Organics
