Event Details

The Cartoon Art Museum hosts artist Jeff Plotkin as part of its ongoing Cartoonist-in-Residence program.  Museum visitors will be offered the chance to talk to Jeff about cartooning and view his work.

Jeff Plotkin is an accomplished cartoonist and comic artist.  He was born in San Francisco, where he lives (making him one of the few San Francisco natives who live there).  His cartoons and comics have appeared in publications such as The East Bay Monthly, The Funny Times and Not My Small Diary.  He also has his own self-published mini-comic, Happy Freak Show.  Jeff considers himself a cartoon artist above anything else.  His personal motto is “If we can’t laugh, our enemies win!”
