The new and strange sounding Jewels Museum in Burlingame is hosting a grand opening party on Friday, June 14, 2013.
They promise free chocolate and free silver charms for visitors. Admission will be free to most exhibits, but some will still require a fee ($9.99).
We called the museum and they are not yet sure which ones will be free, but here is a full list of their current exhibits:
- World Largest Gemstones
- Guinness World Records
- Alien & Unexplained Artifacts Exhibition
- Mayan Crystal Skulls
- Dinosaurs & Pre-Historic Fossils Exhibition
- Samira Gem Creations
- Swarovski Crystal Garden
- Silver Jewels: from Cleopatra to Coco Chanel
- Kryan Neodymium & Steel Pyramids
- Stunning Art of Lassen, Kryan & Kincaid
- Cutest Porcelain Doll Collection
- Scaled Cars & Tanks Display
- Hologram Art Exhibit
- Erotic Art Gallery
- Evil & Satanic Arts & Witchcraft
Sound strange? Yeah, we think so too. It seems like a pretty hippie-dippy place, so if you’re into that, go explore. We’re not sure who is running this museum, or what exactly to expect, but please do check it out and let us know what you thought of it. And as always, keep your wits about you, make sure the chocolate is fresh from the wrapper and don’t give too much money away to fortune tellers (if you encounter any). And please, stop looking at that optical illusion already.
