La Loulou’s 1st Birthday: Free Wine, Live Music + Short Film Premiere (Oakland)

Saturday June 27th: Transport yourself to Paris and celebrate life with us over wine, music, art, and film! 

A year ago, Lou Béraud — a Parisian who came to Oakland, fell in love, and bet everything on Piedmont Avenue — opened La Loulou with her husband Peter, who built the space by hand. One year later, Lou & Peter have brough Paris to Oakland and the village they dreamed of is real. A space where as the French say- il fait bon vivre (life feels good).

On June 27, La Loulou throws the party Piedmont Avenue deserves. The evening unfolds across an afternoon of celebration.

Live music from 4:30PM. A live painter capturing the night from 7PM. And at 8PM — the premiere of a short documentary about La Loulou’s origin story. A love story. A build. A bet on community. Raffle winners from the June 18 Night Market collect their prizes. But everyone is welcome. Consider yourself invited.
