Elvia Buendia of La Cocina’s Incubator Program will be opening La Luna, San Francisco’s first sweet and savory cupcake shop on Friday, March 21, 2013. There will be complimentary samples, special treats, refreshments and a lot of fun.

On the sweet side, Buendia will be serving traditional American flavors like Red Velvet, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Carrot Cake, along with traditional Mexican flavors like Tres Leches, a sponge cake soaked in three types of milk.
On the savory side, you’ll delight in fabulous flavors like bacon and eggs, salmon with cream and dill, and beef with cheese and salsa.
