Event Details

The New Parkway presents a free outdoor movie screening of the Jim Henson classic, Labyrinth, at 8 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2015.

This free screening will be in the parking lot next to the New Parkway at 460 24th Street, just down the street from the theater. Lot opens at 7 pm. Please bring seating for yourself and something to keep you warm.

Lot will open and festivities will begin at 7 pm, so arrive early. Seating is first-come, first-served.

In Labyrinth, fifteen-year-old Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) accidentally wishes her baby half-brother, Toby, away to the Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie) who will keep Toby if Sarah does not complete his Labyrinth in thirteen hours. While it’s arguably more interesting on a visual level, Labyrinth provides further proof of director Jim Henson’s boundless imagination.
