Let’s hike to Lands End and pick mussels! Bring snacks and beverages to enjoy while watching the sunset before we hike back. Free for children under 12 y.o. To pick mussels, you will need to purchase a CA Resident Sport Fishing License (see event website for full details).
We are meeting at the Lands End Trail Parking Lot (NOT the Lands End Main Parking Lot) at 3pm sharp. We will do a meet & greet and short debriefing before heading out at 3:30pm sharp. Low tides is at 2020-01-25 Sat 5:44 PM PST -0.6 feet Low Tide. So we’ll be able to pick mussels from 4:30-5:15pm. We’ll stop at/before sunset, find a good spot to sit, eat, drink and watch the sunset/sky. Then we’ll hike back to the parking lot (don’t forget your flashlight/headlamps). Optionally, afterwards we can go to the Park Chalet for food & drinks and continued merriment.
