Quitapenas, who are very particular about how their name is displayed, means “to remove worries.” Their upbeat, Latino-afro-island sound is especially designed to get you up on your feet and moving. With traditions steeped in radical 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s music, they know how to get very best of all musical worlds to make sure you’re entertained and feeling good by the end of the night.
They will be performing at the New Parish with La Pelanga DJ’s and Tarimba, so don’t miss out. Unless, you know, you like your worries.
