Event Details

Elissa Shevinsky is an serial entrepreneur, tech veteran, and editor of Lean Out: The Struggle for Gender Equality in Tech and Start-up Culture. Lean Out is a collection of 25 essays that illustrate the split between the stated ideals of modern tech companies versus the realities of workplace culture for female employees. Told from a range of voices— including women who’ve left to start their own companies and the women who continue to work at some of the most successful corporations in the US, as well as LGBTQ women, women of color, and transgender people— all of them fed up with the tech industry.

Join Elissa Shevinsky, aka #LadyBoss, and her fellow contributors for a discussion about the past, present, and future of women in tech.
