The California Department of Fish and Game hosts a series of free “Learn to Fish” clinics at parks throughout the Bay Area.
These 45 minute clinics for kids 5-15 years of age, offer instruction in the basics of fishing including knots, casting, rigging, safety, ethics and urban runoff. All equipment and tackle is available to participants and anglers are required to use rods provided.
