Find out what’s behind the trusty jeans that cover your behind with native Californian Lynn Downey who was hired as the first Historian for Levi Strauss & Co. in 1989.
She has since published numerous books and articles about Levi’s® jeans and the company’s history including the 1995 coffee table book, This is a Pair of Levi’s Jeans. Her most recent is an official history for the Images of America series. Downey has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Today show, and ABC’s Nightline.
