Event Details

Join us in celebrating National Aperitif Day with 10 of our chefs’ favorite aperitifs (both alcoholic and non), demonstrated for you live on Zoom. Squeeze, stir, and shake along with us, then raise a glass to spring and to the prospect of very soon being able to gather in person.

All proceeds from Libations for Liberation will benefit 18 Reasons’ free Cooking Matters program for low-income families, which offers grocery donations paired with live, hands-on cooking and nutrition classes to more than 3,500 households each year. Your support fuels our mission to empower everyone in our community to buy, cook, and eat good food every day.

Choose your favorite recipe to mix along with, then sit back and enjoy learning a variety of classic cocktails from around the world. An aperitif is meant to whet your appetite–we hope this event gives you a taste of our programming and leaves you hungry for more!

We’re also offering raffle tickets for just $5 each (buy as many as you want). One lucky winner will win three home deliveries of cocktail kits from SF Cocktail Club and Shaker & Spoon. You’ll get to make 11 curated, designer cocktails at home. This prize is worth $150!

Another lucky winner will get to spend an evening with 18 Reasons’ Chef Mike, who will guide you and your group of up to 11 guests in a private cocktail-making class. While Mike’s private cocktail classes usually cost $500, one winner will get to enjoy their very own cocktail trio class with him for the cost of a raffle ticket. This class will be held live over Zoom.
