Please join them to celebrate bikes and libraries. Bicycling librarians will lead a 25 mile loop, visiting 6 Silicon Valley libraries.
The Library 2 Library Bicycle Loop Tour is a fun tour for library lovers and bicycle riders. They bring people of all ages together and highlight the importance and significance of the library’s role in the community and in bringing people together.
Additionally, library bicycle tours get people of all ages out of cars and moving, showing that bicycling is a viable means of transportation to the library and everyday use.
Schedule (tentative)
- 8:45 AM: Check-in at Calabazas Branch Library
- 9:30 AM: Wheels hit the road
- 10:20 AM:Arrive Santa Clara City Library
- 11:35 AM: Arrive Sunnyvale Public Library
- 12:30 PM: Arrive Mountain View Public Library
- 1:30 PM: Arrive Woodland Branch Library
- 2:20 PM: Arrive Cupertino Library
- 3:00 PM: Arrive Calabazas Branch Library
Library stops will include library tours, snacks and activities. The tour will not be held in the event of inclement weather.
