“Lights Out at the ‘Stick” Candlestick Park History Exhibit | SF

Candlestick Park Stadium, the city’s baseball and football stadium for over 50 years, will be torn down in late 2014 or early 2015.

Lights Out at the ‘Stick is a newly opened exhibit located in the Grove Street lobby of the Main Library featuring a brief history and memorabilia.

Among the items on display are a San Francisco 49ers uniform and helmet, a Candlestick seat, reproduced tickets and program from the 1962 Giants v. Yankees World Series home game, a Giants uniform, and more.
