Event Details

Barrio Manouche is a Gypsy Jazz Ensemble from San Francisco/Bay Area CA. It is Javier Jiménez new project featuring many talented musicians also hooked on the Djangomania.

Javier Jiménez (co-founder of Beso Negro), has moved onto a more authentic Jazz Manouche style letting his original influences from Madrid Spain twine with the so over present spirit of Django. Barrio Manouche just got out of the studio with its new album “Detrás de la Sombra” that will soon be released. Barrio Manouche is largely influenced by many : Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli Hot Club Of France, Camarón, Paco de Lucía y los grandes del Flamenco.
