NightLife presents a talk by Patrick Blanc, world-renowned botanist and inventor of the vertical garden, and creator of Drew School’s ‘living wall’ – the largest such installation in the U.S.

Also a special screening of Darwin and his Fabulous Orchids will be shown at 7:30 and 8:30 pm.  The 6:30 pm show is Life: A Cosmic Story, the Academy’s regular daytime show.

Special discounted evening admission to the California Academy of Sciences on Thursday evenings with unique special events each week.

  • Thursdays, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
  • Tickets are $12 ($10 for Academy members). Last entry is 9:00 pm.
  • 21+ with Valid ID.
