Get ready to check out the Bay’s most polished and decked out lowriders at this annual “King of the Streets” car show which includes an epic in a lowrider car hopping contest. Afterward, the lowriders will cruise the Mission starting around 4pm.
The San Francisco Lowriders Council is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2021 was founded in 1981 to help preserve and promote the art and culture of lowriding in the Bay Area.
While we don’t know how big the contingency will be for 2021, there is space for 700 cars and typically there are over 300 lowriders and bikes participating in the show and the cruise – with the biggest boppers squaring off in the hopping competition, (check out the review and amazing drone footage on stanceworks).
