Celebrate Lunar New Year at the center. Festivities kick off on Jan. 25 with LionDanceME performing traditional Lion Dance, including waist drum dancing and more. The first 138 guests to visit Simon Guest Services will receive a special treat.
On Jan. 26, shoppers are invited to a free Tai Chi class, led by Margaret Zhao, an award-winning author, and teacher of Tai Chi/Qigong and Natural Healing Arts. Complimentary tea will be available before and after the class. In addition, various retailers within the mall will be offering special activities and promotions throughout the weekend.
Saturday, January 25th
1 pm – Traditional Lion Dancing performed by LionDanceME
2 pm – 3:30 PM: Traditional Chinese Dances performed by EastBay WeDance Team
Sunday, January 26th
1 pm – Tai Chi Class led by Margaret Zhao of local non-profit, Life Renewing Center
