Hot Einstein | “Summer Sounds” Free Lunchtime Concert | Oakland

Hot Einstein is old and new at the same time. It’s the story of old friends and new friends coming together to make music joyfully.

Matt Berkeley got an urge to sing and to form a new band with some of his best friends and best musical comrades. He called upon Joe Bagale and Pete Canton to lock down the drums and bass. Building something new from the ground up comes easily with the solid and great-feeling groove created by those two gentlemen on the drums and bass. Enter guitarist Darrin Fox who shared the others’ passion for bands like The Heartbreakers, Stuff and The Band, and the chemistry was right. Add to that two of the most talented and emerging vocalists around, Karyn Paige and Crystal Monee Hall, and you have yourself a band.
