Dipti Mathur has built a hightly regarded collection of modern and contemporary Indian art. Her ongoing interests lie in working with institutions in the US on promoting a broader cross-cultural understanding and study of contemporary Indian art.

Lunchtime Lecture: Understanding and Collecting Contemporary Indian Art

In this talk Mathur is discusses the growing international market for contemporary Indian art and pivotal major artists. Visitors are welcome to bring food and beverages. Free.

Dipti has served on the Board of Trustees of the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle Asian Art Museum. She currently serves on the Collections Committee of the Asia Society Museum, New York, and on the Contemporary Art Advisory Panel of the San Francisco Asian Art Museum. She is one of the Founding Members of the Asian Contemporary Art Consortium, San Francisco.
