Event Details

Confused about what material goes into which bin? Want to find out how to get your property manager to begin composting and recycling in your building?

Come to this short, interactive training to learn all about SF Environment’s programs and environmental campaigns. Find out more information about how to green this city and learn how you can help.

  • Green Zebra can order a healthy lunch for you if you like. We can save you 10 % your lunch at the San Francisco Soup Company and have it ready when you arrive. If interested, RSVP to heath@thegreenzebra.org by 3/2/10.

To help San Francisco move closer to its goal of zero waste by 2020, the Mandatory Recycling and Composting Ordinance requires everyone in San Francisco to separate their refuse into recyclables, compostables, and trash. No one may mix recyclables, compostables, or trash, or deposit refuse of one type in a collection container designated for another type. Help our city get to Zero Waste by going beyond recycling and composting.
