Making “The Wiggle” A Little More Awesome | Lower Haight

The next phase of Wiggle improvements has two more hurdles to clear – one on Friday April 3rd and then final approval by the Board of the SFMTA on May 5th.

“Gee, Wigg Party, it’s been so long since I’ve heard anything about this project – what’s up for approval?”

There’s a handful of bulbouts up and down the Wiggle, but the most exciting thing is a traffic diverter at Scott and Fell that would make it illegal to go southbound on Scott between Fell and Oak. That means a lot fewer cars on Scott St as well as eliminating the highly dangerous situation for cyclists turning left off of Scott on to Fell.
