Event Details

“The Manimal Project” is an interactive Pop Up Art Installation that travels to different places in the Bay Area. On June 1st it will pop up in the beautiful gardens at Hayes Valley Art Works for one day. It features 14 manimal sculptures, that are half human half animal. The sculptures are weird portrayals of animal idioms and phrases like busy bee, cash cow, love birds and many more. How can you interact with them? Try to speak manimal! Record your manimal message and listen to what other manimals have to say. Get your QR code reader ready. Every manimal sculpture wears a QR code that links you to the artist’s IG, where you can watch the manimal talk. Hang out with the manimals, pose next to them and take pictures.
