Event Details

Join fellow protesters in a worldwide March Against Monsanto on Saturday, October 12, 2013.

The march calls for the permanent boycott of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and other harmful agro-chemicals.

Bay area residents will march at 11 am across the Golden Gate Bridge (south to north) and back honoring World Food Day.

Participants in the March Against Monsanto SF are invited to make signs and dress as a bee (or other costumes) as part of a “bee swarm” in recognition of the plight of the many pollinators who are suffering from Colony Collapse Disorder due to the adverse affects of agrochemicals.

The peaceful march is family friendly and open to all and is scheduled to end at approximately 2 pm.
